Every year I like to make cute tie-dye turkeys with my kiddos. I've made these with Kindergarten kids, fifth graders and my third graders! They are super easy and the kids love them.
Aren't they adorable? Here's the lowdown on how to make them...
I told you it was easy! I didn't make a template for the parts, because I always let my kids just create their own to make them all different. In the past with less artistic classes, I've let my kids trace their foot for the turkey body. :)

I'm awfully jealous of you that don't have to go to school tomorrow, but the Sunday Night Blues won't be too bad, knowing I only have two days before a long break! Have a great Sunday! :)

Love the turkeys!! So super cute! We did rainbow snowflakes the same way last year and my kiddos loved it! Can't remember where I found the idea - I'm sure it was another great teacher blogger.
ReplyDeleteI will pass the turkey idea on to my teacher friends - thanks for a great post! :)
Cute turkeys!! Congrats on 700, girl:) I've missed catching up with you.
ReplyDeleteHello Amber, I posted about my coffee filter turkeys and tie dye, but separately. Hop over to my blog to see what we've been up to in my first grade classroom. I am your newest follower.
ReplyDeleteLove the cute turkeys! I'm going to have to try these next year. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Love the turkey idea! I did it with my class, but changed it just a little bit. We used paper towels to help them dry a little quicker, it also helped with the tie-dye effect. Then we glued the whole turkey to a large piece of construction paper and wrote what we were thankful for all around it. Thanks so much!
