I had lots of comments about getting our scores back so soon.
On one hand, it's nice to know right away.
On the other hand, since we get scores back right away we have to remediate for a week and then retest. Because, if you didn't know if they didn't know it a week ago, they will certainly know it by the retest.
So next week will be all about remediating my little ones who didn't pass. My little kiddos that did pass will get to do some sort of a version of literature circles while I'm reviewing with the other ones. I'm working on a plan now. Hopefully I'll get it hammered out before Monday!
Ok, now to more exciting things! The winner to my Giveaway! I decided to not just have 1 winner, not 2 winners, but 3 Winners!!

Yikes, one week to review and then retest!?! What are "they" hoping to accomplish? If your kiddos didn't get it the first time with eight or so months of preparation will five days really make that much difference? I am rooting for your students and wish them all well : )
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts exactly!
DeleteYippee! I am so excited to be a winner :) I LOVE all of your items and can't wait to add more to my collection! Thanks a million!!

Oh, the joys of testing...if they weren't interested the first time I'm sure that will all change in a week, right? So sorry. Just found your blog and started following. Visit mine sometime.

8 passages?! That's ridiculous. We have 4-5 (one usually is field questions that don't count), and that's for 4th grade.
